What is the most important information I should know about Norvasc?
You should only use Norvasc 5mg tablets when you need it. Do not use Norvasc 5mg tablets more than once a day. Norvasc is not recommended for use by children, or people under 18 years of age. Norvasc can be harmful if taken in large amounts (in excess of 500 mg/day) or with other drugs that cause blood clots. Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease or liver disease, or if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
